hehe nagawa na nila 'to, vs LPU yata i forgot.. kasama pa c Del Rosario na naging Libero din nila =P i think mas ok to! kasi, kaya ng patayin yung bola sa harap pa lang... kung may lumusot, kuha ng libero so true. nung ipasok c jecjec gumanda yung digs and receive sa likod. lahat kuha =P sana magawa nila coach un, |

wow what can i say.... ust did really well...... USTvsADMU n sa finals... KUDOS to banaticla..... di xa gnun kalakas pumalo pero malikot bola... im sure nakatulong beach volley stint nya internationally.... what a prized rookie....palaban
i hope admu can do better next tym... ONe BIG FIGHT.....that was.....
hmm can sum1 give an analysis about each team's performance? brilliance and flaws

It was a nice game. I can now see development with regard to the maturity of the UST WVT. They know now how to hold on even they are behind in terms of scores and still be able to win the set.
For this game, I would like to commend the players particularly Maru and Maika. However Maru really need to improve her ball reception big time.
Congrats also to the leaders: Aiza and Ange.
Now I can focus to my work :-)

I would say that it was a good game for both teams, UST needs those kinds of games to strengthen them. UST lead by big during the first set but when Rhea was replaced by Jane, things started to go around. ADMU being down 23-17, managed to claw all the way to 23-22 until UST got its act back together and win it. Then come 2nd set, it was ADMU's turn to lead by a big margin and UST clawed its way back to win it 27-25. Then in the 3rd set, ADMU continued its momentum from the 2nd set and played well. UST's reception was bad and ADMU capitalized on it. Then come 4th set, sensing that the momentum shifted, UST was able to wither the comeback and played their game and win it. UST was able to hold on and that was a big achievement.
Maru- I said to her yesterday that she will be the POG. And I was right. When UST needed points, she delivered. She also had some good digs in this game. She still has reception errors. As the season continues, she will get better.
Aiza- She arrived at The Arena just before their warm up was about to start. She and Jec had exams so they arrived late. She was inserted midway through the first set. Most of her points came from her superb blocking. ADMU was able to check her offense, so she did it w/ defense. She was also replaced a couple of times when she was in the backline because her reception is bad.
Ange- Good game also from her, she carried to offense besides Maru. Her defense at the net was also good.
Maika- Her quick hits were sometimes off but nonetheless, it produced points. Together w/ Aiza upfront, ADMU had a hard time going through the net.
Rhea- She managed the offense very well. She knew whom to give the ball and who can score. Time will come that she will get the POG.
Rox- Timely running spikes were able to help and her net defense was good. But age still matters and she was slow in some plays.
Jhen- Still has a lot to learn. But still, she did good in some parts of the game. She will learn more from each game. Remember that when Jec was still the libero, many blamed her in her first year. But eventually she blossomed. That will also happen to Jhen. Coach Shaq said she believe Jhen can be one of the best liberos and time will come. Let us also wait patiently and keep the faith.
Up next for UST is the UNIGAMES. They will leave on friday. Joining them are DLSU, AdU and UP. They will be back on Oct 31.
