Based on the replay a while ago, here are my observations: Adamson: - It is still not their best performance, with Nene just training once with them and Serafica being outscored by Jem. - Jill Gustillo really played well but was almost equalized by her own share of errors. - Sang's A game is back - Paulina Soriano is a very good utility player. She definitely improved a lot with her differential hits and running attacks. - Gata is Gata. Ateneo: - It is obvious that they defended really bad. It was painful to see Charo and Fille dive for the balls exclusively. - According to the Updates before, Jem Ferrer suffered an injury, and it showed at the game. No jump serve, and no consistency in setting. Hope she'll get well soon. - Charo's is back, but still needs support from other teammates. - Son[Thai import] I was really impressed with her at the start of the game, it's as if a guy is hitting the ball. She just didn't perform well. Why? I think the reason behind that is, Jem hasn't yet practiced the set that she wants. - Lastly, I was confused by the shuffling of the players. I don't get it. - I thought they would use Gretchen and Fille at all time. I suggest they would use this line up: Setter: Ferrer Open: Gervacio, Cainglet Middle: Gretchen, Son Utility: Charo Just my opinion. Goodpm to all. xp

While I was bellyaching way back that Ateneo has so many middle players already, Sontayak will be a good middle attacker since she has a high reach and a powerful spike. The effect would be a NeNe Bautista (she is being used as middle spiker now). Charo is at home in ANY position anyway and her blocking ability will be useful in the utility position. Question: Where are you Kara Acevedo?!?

i expected that ateneo would give adamson a great match expecting that they came from Thailand and have a Thai import na they said is really good but sadly, I'm really disappointed... Hay... well, bilog talaga ang bola. Tsk tsk..

same here.....given the resident talent of Ateneo, and now backed with a Thai import....i thought it would be a 5 setter with even Ateneo winning....Siguro nagaadjust pa sila sa isa't isa (meaning the Thai player and the team)...Who knows...Good Luck sa susunod na games po ninyo Ateneo...
Good Morning Everyone....

The Lady Eagles should minimize unforced errors. They gave so many points to ADU. Also, their main players in the recent UAAP71 must bring back their level of intensity. They can't just put the entire load on Charo and the Thai import. Anyway, these can all be addressed and I'm sure they'll make the necessary adjustments.
