swimbod, the mvp is sheilla. and who's antm? i don't think haneef will make it to the next olympics. i just meant that they should have her as part of the transition phase. i believe the team needs tom's serve and defense too. straight from the ncaa eh? i'm very suspicious about the caliber of <b>most</b> ncaa setters. i've seen some games from the top teams, and i think they can learn a few things from japanese high school setters.  anyhoo, why won't they try some of those young guys who are playing professionally? karpol, hindi naman kailangang gayang-gaya. fofao has her own style and fernanda has hers. same goes for other countries. i mean the world is full of possibilities. young kids are even better at being trained. if he couldn't do it in that generation of players, puede naman siguro sa susunod na henerasyon. anyhoo, what's done is done we've got to hand it to him though. because of his system, russia keeps puting together four or five manon fliers in one team--players who can wham a kill anytime. samantalang hirap na hirap ang china at japan na gumawa na kahit isang kasing-reliable nila. most of the other top teams can only produce one or two. |

www.fivb.org/en/volleyball/Rankings/Rank_women_2009_08.asplink nang world rankings...bagong update.... _jodaman,first of all he's not the coach of the national team,,second he is old...and many potential talented players are scattered in different clubs in Russia...third maybe he could not find talents anymore that could train with him....... kaya lang naman nakagawa siya ng mga sokolova,gamova,artamonova,tichtchenko,batukthina,kirillova,oguienko,smirnova,chebukina,sidorenko,menchova ..eh dahil hawak niya pa ang NT,, kasi no choice ang mga players kung gusto nila maglaro sa NT kailangan nilang pumasok kay Karpol sa Uralochka kaya nkpag mold at nakagawa at ntrain niya ang players na magagaling eh kung hangang Coach pa rin ng Russia si Karpol,,sigurado ako si Borodakova at Kosheleva pati siguro sia Naumova sama mo narin si Startseva eh nasa Uralochka NTMK silang lahat sure din akong many young talented kids din ang mageenroll sa Uralochka

_jodaman malay ko na kung bakit di niya trinain si gracheva at vassilevskaia na katulad dati kay kirillova at nikulina...cguro hindi katulad kay kirillova ang atletism nila gracheva at vassilevskaia.. at isa din factor yup tama nag iba na rin ng sistema si karpol bubong high set instead of creative setting... at natrauma din siya kay nikulina dahil hindi rin siya umepek...... Maiba Tayo!! pag timeout or team huddle...napansin lahat ng team execpt russia assistant coach at mga players nakikisawsaw sa sinasabi ng coach.. pag dating kay Karpol wala lhat tahimik sia lang ang may right na magsalita estes sumgiaw..minsan wla siyang dalang assistant coach or trainer tlagang siya lang at team doktor kung may dala siya hindi rin makapalag ang mga assistant ni karpol..intayin mo na siyang matapos chakalang kalang mkkpgsalita ng iilang linya sa mga players.. at pansin ko rin kaya rin nag dadala ng trainer at assistant coach si karpol para may kakwnthan sia sa bench heheh share lang po |

yep, houston is from rainbow wahine (hawaii).
if tom is in top shape 3 years from now why not. she's an all around player.
we used to rank before as high as 40ish (early 2000). may nasabi na we used to be in the top 20 during the 70's hindi ko lang sure kung totoo.
wala bang ibang tournaments ngayon pagkatapos ng grand prix?

karpol, may ilang beses ko ring nakita na ang ipinagsalita ni nikolai karpol ay si ogienko sa mga timeout. teka, totoo bang nagkatuluyan rin sila ogienko at karpol?

yep i remembered there was time that only morozova and batukthina were the reciever on the court.....pag service na tischenko isusub si oguienko kay tischenko..then batukthina and oguienko ang recievers......
