^ No. It's not the sole basis. All statistics that every player has matters, whether it's a scoring skill (score, attacks, blocks, serves) or non-scoring skill (sets, digs, receives)... Statistics are from the bulletins released by the UAAP.

In simple analysus, kung average points per set lang ang basis, hindi matataasan nina Charleen Cruz at Stephanie Mercado sina Rachelle Anne Daquis at Angela Benting...

The rankings posted above are unofficial. Also, It has not been cleared yet by the UAAP Board whether the MVP can come from any of the teams joining the league, any of the games who will enter the semi-finals, or just the team that gets the title.

^ Unfortunately, official statistics can't be seen in any website. You can checkout this forum for updates on the stats but unlike the Shakey's V-League, hindi nakapublish ang statistics ng UAAP. Kung may mga statistics man kaming napopost dito, sariling sikap namin ang pagkalap nun at walang iisang website na pwede naming pagkunan. Hindi kagaya last season na may spikeithard.com

Ipagdasal mo na lang na magchampion sila at piliin siya ni coach...

Ang process kasi is, there will be a 3 man team na magtitrim down ng choices ng coach into 3 players of his team. Tapos siya na ang pipili kung sino ang MVP kapag nanalo sila...
