i was so aggravated during the first two sets.
i thought that i would just concede to the fact that ateneo has beaten my dear feu.
that was something worth remembering

hayy..thrilling five sets na naman.haha
napanood ko lng ay 4th and 5th set.
akala ko sa ateneo na during the 5th set, pero lumamang pa feu.
POG si shai!shet!labyu!haha
nice one maika!alam ko kahit di ako nakapanood ay ginalingan mo tlga against up.
haha.consistency na lang maikapot!!!

wow...5 SETS...astig...congrats to FEU...but still congrats pa din sa ADMU though they lost it...they still proven their worth and hindi na nakakapagtaka yun kasi even their rookies can play like veterans...ayun, goodluck sa iba pang games...i'm waiting for the semis and finals to come...^_^

i said to myself, if feu gets even a single set, ateneo is going to have a tough game.
sayang nga lang. i think bea pascual has been improving every game. she spikes better and serves better!

i think, hindi nila (ateneo) nasustain yung momentum. i said to myself, if feu gets even a single set, ateneo is going to have a tough game. sayang nga lang. i think bea pascual has been improving every game. she spikes better and serves better! yup..i agree with that..they already had the momentum in the first 2 sets then all of the sudden it faded..ang galing pa naman ng play nila ho at gervacio and acevedo..akala ko nga binigyan ng change ng feu ang admu para makabattle ng ang ust sa 4th position...well if the announcer is right, loosing this game kanina ADMU lost its eligibility for the semifinals spot..sayang talaga.. gusto ko rin silang manalo kahit FEU ako.. kudos to pascual.., grabe ang performance level nya kanina, naawa lang ako kay cainglet..nababad ng husto lalong lalo na sa set up ni ferrer sa kanya...lagi nalng siya... congrats din sa UST , muntik na rin sila against UP...pero they manage to break through..pansin ko lang during team huddle on technical time out or timeouts., masyadong maraming nagsasalita sa coaching staff nila..buti nagkakaintidihan pa sila...  |

Good games for my fave teams UP and ATENEO!!! Ironically, I'm more satisfied with the performance of the Lady Eagles in this loss against FEU, than with the win against NU in their last game. I have always believed that if Ateneo wants to fare well in this season, the key would be BEA PASCUAL. The rookie-open hitters (Cainglet and Gervacio) cannot do it by themselves. If Bea and Ho can continue to play at this level, the squad might just squeak a win against the elite-three in their next games. What was most obvious in this game is the variety of attacks from Pascual, Cainglet, Ho, and surprisingly, even Gervacio. The soft top-spin shots/drop balls of Fille and Dzi were brilliant. Unfortunately, come crunch time in the fourth and fifth, instinct kicked in and they just whacked the ball each and every time. But still, good to see the two open spikers mix it up a bit! The middle-hitters Bea and Gretchen were a revelation in this game! I see that Coach Mic Laborte's smarts were rubbing off on her gals. One time, Gretch was even kinda' sprinting to execute a running spike that resulted to a point for Ateneo. Love to see this girl perfect the running spike a la Su Roces. On the other hand, Bea was channelling off Mic Mic at some points, finding the corners, the open spots, power-tipping, you-name-it, and of course, blocking well. What I especially liked about this girl was the fact that at several instances, even if the sets are not that perfect, she found a way to hang in there and deliver the points for the team. Hindi namimili ng bola.Jam Ferrer played like a Saet. The sets were excellent, evenly distributed, but I kinda' miss her (and Dzi's) jump serves. It's a pity that come the fifth set, everyone was ready to collapse our of FATIGUE, that they weren't able to receive well. Maybe this game is a cue for the coaching staff to concentrate more on the conditioning of the girls. More laps at the Moro oval, perhaps  |
