I think it does not only have to be higher stats to be ROY , as i know there is percentage for media plus,players votes also... Yes I know. But if stats will play a big slice of the pie and if other categories will end up close among candidates, still it would matter. Anyway, let's leave it with the UAAP guys and just enjoy the games. pero diba yung stats, average per set ang measure (except for best scorer)? so kahit na dumami ang opportunities to get higher points, you still have to divide the total successes by the number of sets played. So if you think about it, mas lugi ka pa if you play more sets(except for the best scorer) kasi you have to make more quality points to make up for the additional set/s. |

If that's how they do it, then that solves the issue. Well for games that were won, the candidate whose team played more sets is not at the losing end 'coz benefit is due to the candidate whose team played better (won in lesser sets), being part of the team. But for games that were lost (I suppose they still count the stats), that's where the candidate whose team played better (meaning more sets before losing the game) is at a disadvantage 'coz her production will be averaged by more sets.
