tama ka dyan kuya von... Grabe they were like veterans.... Sila bang tatlo (except gervacio) galing sa Hope, kasi ang alam ko lang si Jam from HOPE, then si gervacio from visayas ba? Only Jem Ferrer is from Hope... Gretchen Ho is from ICA... Fille Cainglet and Angeline Gervacio are from St. Scho-Manila Thanks po... mali pala yung rinig ko sa V-league... ano po ang ICA?? |

bakit po lumipat ng venue ang uaap-volleyball? mas maganda ang blue eagle gym kesa sa feu gym, sa tingin ko lang... hehehe PEACE  kainis yung mga power interruption sa game knina... anyway, napabilib ako sa laro ng ateneo kanina esp. kay cainglet. magaling xa... hehe... |

si acevedo medyo off kanina... si gabriel ganun din... konting gising sa libero ng ateneo! anu ba yan! ok lang sa mga rookies pede pa yan ma improve... magagawan yan ng paraan ni coach gorayeb... baka naman dahil sa siko niya ata.. kasi may bandage ata o plaster yung isa?? |

Very nice game!
Being an Ateneo fan, I wasn't really expecting them to go far, maybe four sets... but seeing how they put their hearts out there, kudos to the revitalized team! Coach Roger Gorayeb will work wonders with this squad!
Much much improved floor defense, compared to their V-league performance. Aside from occasional lapses, this young squad played magnificently the whole duration of the match. With a few tweaking from Coach Roger, Ateneo will be a strong contender for the semis slot, and daresay, even a finals slot!
Jam Ferrer was fantastic! Konting hasa na lang sa mga quick plays with Pascual and Ho. And speaking of Bea, magnificent game for her too, especially her blocking and a few "mic-mic" placing shots. Acevedo also played wonderfully at times, delivering the points for the team at crucial moments.
As to Gervacio, nice game over-all although plagued with service and attack errors, but still, she got the most powerful spike out there in the squad. Mejo impatient lang, as the games progress, I'm very interested to see how this gal develop - pwedeng Charo Soriano-mold kind of player.

As for Adamson, congratulations to them...
although in my opinion, a very poor game from their standard. I'm not quite impressed with Hiponia as a setter, parang hindi natural.. if she wants to stay in the setter spot, she has a lot of work to do... Because of poor setting, Laguilles was not as dominant as she could have been...
Soriano is so calm and collected, and delivered for the team at the crucial closing minutes of the game. Galing! ngayon pa lang, pang-National Team na.
btw, what's with the Quinlog serve? mejo natawa ako sa reaction nya after bombing her serves hehe

After watching the game much further (napanood ko lang kasi 1st set at mga tingin tingin  ) ang nagpa inconsistent talaga sa laro ng Adamson eh sa part ng setter. Hindi mo naman din siya masisi dahil apparently converted setter siya (from an attacker). Tama nga si 9balls, kita mo talaga na medyo nag a adjust pa sila Benting at specially si Laguilles dahil sa change of setter while si Soriano naman walang gaanong hirap. I think kelangan ni Hiponiang pag aralan na mag variate ng sets dahil may tendency siya na umulit ulit putting more strain sa mga attackers. That at yung kay Laguilles, hopefully mapagaralan niyang mabasa tulad nung kay Serafica dahil yun yung isa sa mga vital plays ni Sang. Sa ADMU naman intact na halos, offense and defense i think nagkaron lang ng first match jitters most ng mga rookies. That at hindi masyadong naging active si Acevedo. Magiging impending threat din and ADMU once na malagpasan nila ang jitters. P.S. Laking advantage sa part ng mga FEU fans na sa FEU gym ginaganap ang mga matches. Daming mga known spectators kanina... may mga taga WVT, nandun din si Jessie Lopez at ilang mga taga FEU Men's Basketball Team. |

 congrats Adamson!!! kaya lang parang hindi ito ung game output na inaasahan ko  kelangan pa magadjust si hiponia, practice pa talaga, masyado sya predictable at walang variation...pero congrats din kasi nagbawas na sya ng timbang..hehe kahit adu fan ako napahanga ako sa mga rookies ng ADMU!!! galing ni ferrer, first year pa lang pero pangcontender na ng best setter, wahehe....di mabasa ung drop shots nya...galing talaga no less the MVP of Shakeys V league high school division... Syempre kodus din kay pau soriano, the rookie of AdU, the MVP of Palarong pambansa, althou di ganun kaganda mga sets ni hiponia nagaadjust sya at ang sipag nya magblock....pangcontender din for ROY!!!

magaling si Soriano ng ADU. sya ang future ng ADU WVT. kay Hiponia improve pa ng malaki. alam namin na mahirap pantayan ang galing ni Serafica. but Hiponia has to work double time if they want to be in Semis or Finals. hindi nauutilize masyado galing ni Benting at Laguilles, halatang nagaadjust pa sila. sa ADMU galing ng rookies! nagimprove sila from the V-League. dapat magstand up veterans nila. (Acevedo, Pascual, Gabriel, Quimpo, Paje) thumbs para kay Jam Ferrer isa syang magaling na setter! di ko akalain na aabutin sila ng 5 sets. Goodluck sa future games! =) i'm still rooting for FEU to be the champion! |

what's beauty if you don't have talent and skills? maybe montero shud stop her pa-cute stuff and focus on her game. there's a lot of beauties in UAAP WITH talents and skills. maybe montero shud just join beauty contest instead.
