Tan was also "inconsistent" (whatever you want to call it) before. And UST got themselves into deep deep holes as well. But hey, they have two championships tucked in their belts against Thai-fortified teams. Coincidental? I don't think so. --- It's no longer UST's problem if it has very strong ex-players like Bernal and Balse. And it's but natural for them to step up and assume the role of equalizers. Seniors nga sila, eh. Malas na lang ng ibang eskwelahan diyan kung hindi magaling ang mga graduate at guest player nila. And credits should be given to the young UST players as well for peaking at the right time- like Caballejo (correct me if I am wrong). And who made those two crucial kills, by the way? And let's take note that this is V-League, not UAAP. Magkaiba ang format. So, let's try not to get ahead of it. 'Yung iba kasi, UAAP na agad ang tinitingnan, eh, ang dami pang pwedeng mangyari in between. --- Most of the people who rank UST low in their lists don't realize (or probably forgot to realize) that when UST is in the groove, TAPOS NA ANG USAPAN. Pakilista na lang. Remember: 1. Nakakatatlong laro pa lang sila. 2. Habang tumatagal, lalong nag-iinit. 3. CHAMPIONSHIP experience of Tan ('yung tinatawag ng iba diyan na inconsistent), Maizo, Balse and Bernal. Maganda sa UST, magaling na ang guest players nila (at PRODUKTO RIN NG UST), promising pa ang mga baguhan. --- Anyhoo, this brings us back to UST's first championship against SSC-R. Hindi naman UST ang "top-seeded" noon, eh. Pero aywan, tumiklop 'yung mga kalaban when it mattered most. Lagay ko na lang din ang UST sa fifth-sixth spot ko, a notch lower than ADMU na walang Thai import ngayon.  |

hinde ko alam bat marami ang super defensive with me calling Denise Tan's inconsistent. Players will have off days. Had Tan been truly consistent then why is she at times being seated? Even the UST for sure admits this by putting her sa sides when she is off...
Tan was my first favorite player when I came across Philippine volleyball so definitely it's not my interest to put her or UST down....nakakatawa naman yung mga super defenses ng iba ... nothing wrong with admitting about that...
And yes, we all know that she was the setter when UST won championships left and right... Even analysts nga nagtataka why she is inconsistent...and yes! they call her such so...
So what's the big buzz about it?
If UST reaches the semifinals, then greatttttttttttttttttt.....it will make the league way more exciting....

^tingin ko rin dlsu, feu , admu at ust ang final four sa uaap eh kasi malaking kawalan talaga si bautista at serafica. hehehehe. tingin ko din but...just wait nalang guys...may surprise ang adu sa Uaap... Hindi man ganon kalakas..Pero mas magiging exciting din talaga ang uaap...  i think i know this. according to tatan herself., siya na faw ang magiging setter. nabigla nga ako eh. mas magaling siya as a libero... |

Which part ko minaliit ang UST? Read again. It is just a PREDICTION... I even said it would be great seeing UST make a great comeback. I've made my prediction based on what I have observed on the games of UST. While Balse is in her A game always, aren't Bernal and Tan quite inconsistent? Bernal will always be one with the most monstrous kills but other members of the team are quite shaky. Read again. Tsk. tsk. tsk. 3-4? i don't think so.... and as for TAN, she might be inconsistent but you can't deny the fact that the crowd loves her... just by her mere presence natutuwa & napapahanga na ang tao. whahahhaha.... we are talking about games not fanbase or how the crowd loves her... i love denise tan but ... i don't know... you don't make sense anymore... it is you who doesn't make sense... Tan is part of the line-up right? It's a chain reaction... she serves as a spark plug & the rest of the team will follow... and fanbase is also a big factor sa mga games... |

Super galing ni Kesinee, right? Halimaw at matalino. Ba't hindi niya napag-champion ang Ateneo?
At magaling rin sina Bualee, Mondejar at Latigay, pero natalo sila ng USTe.
Hindi lang naman sina Balse and Bernal (2-player team) lang ang naglaro noon. They are BIG FACTORS, definitely! But hey, it's called A TEAM. I remember nga, walang napanalunan ni isang individual award ang UST noon, eh. Pero CHAMPION sila my friend. TWICE IN A ROW!
And again, it's no longer UST's problem kung magaling sina Balse at Bernal, at kung produkto sila ng USTe at loyal sila maglaro dito. It's unfair to take it against UST. Wala namang reklamo ang UST fans kung naglalaro pa rin si Charo Soriano (na graduate na) sa school niya.
