Though LPU captured the WNCAA v-ball crown, it doesn’t show that they are really competitive in this league. Going back to previous conference, they played mediocre even Beverly Boto was with them. Underdogs for this conference in my opinion are CSB, LPU and surprisingly UST!

Ive been a ust fanatic since this league has started. And every league sila ang bet ko. But for this conference, though I'm still praying for them to win the crown, there are many threats on their way to finals even in semi finals.

But of course, Maizo was really the key in the last vleague crown of UST. And sa last game ng ust against csb, we saw kung paano nagkaroon ng variation sa attack ng ust with Maizo. As a lefty, its so hard to read kung saang angle niya ititira. And mind you, quick hits pa ang binibigay sa kanya.

With Balse and Bernal around plus Maizo, UST is the team to beat.

The question is, will UST give ample amount of game time for their rookies in preparation for UAAP?

sana mag step up yung ibang veteran.. lalo na't sinasabi din ng iba na wala ang ust kung wala ang double b..hehe..let's just see kung ano pa ang mailalabas at maipapakita ni aiza maizo and the rookies..

just like rpspiker, i am a ust fanatic since the league started.. i know they are still rebuilding kasi ang daming rookies, but i have seen those rookies train and i have high hopes on them.. sana din i-utilize nila yung game na to para maayos sila come uaap.. just like yung ginawa nila sa csb na uaap line-up yung naglaro ng isang set.. let them prove their critics wrong that they are nothing without the double B..

parang ganto lang yan, if they are up for the crown buong game paglalaruin ng UST sina Balse and Bernal. If gagawing training ground ang mga rookies, bibigyan nila ng ample time ang tlagang UAAP line up.. just like FEU the last conference, halatang ginawang training ground ang v-league. they don't get any guest players. tlagang nagrebuild since nawala na ang top players nila like Semana, Abanto and Cafranca.

let's hope na lang UST will be on top kahit mahirapan sila dba. it's a nice experience naman ang makapaglaro sa v-league.

I do hope that this League would be a training ground for the Rookies of UST. It's gonna be an uphill climb for them this conference & so as for the UAAP... If you were to analyze the game between DLSU & FEU (who by the way, played with their respective UAAP Line-up). In my opinion, kakainin ng buhay ang UST. I hope that Coach Shaq would wisely utilize his players & find a solution to counter attack the Line up of FEU & DLSU. I really don't expect much from ADMU this conference (don't know why)...

I REALLY WANT TO SEE THE ROOKIES OF UST TO HAVE MORE PLAYING TIME THAN DOUBLE B, ALTHOUGH I LOVE VENUS BERNAL AND GING BALSE, FEELING KO SUPER GANDA NG OPPURTUNITY NA TO, FOR THE ROOKIES! I WANT TO SEE THEM PLAY WITH FEU, ADU AND SSC, ADMU, DLSU AT LAHAT LAHAT NA, UNG TALAGANG MAGAGALING NA TEAMS, IM SURE SUPER DAMI NILANG MATUTUTUNAN!

i believe that UST's Coach will balance off the playing time of the veterans (including Miss Bernal and Miss Balse) and the rookies....

this is to give exposure and experience to the Rookies and at the same time not sacrificing the games outcome.... And Yes, the ongoing V-League is a proper training ground for any Rookie to watch and learn, from her veteran mates then apply whatever she learns....

I hope the coaching staff of UST would really focus on their rookies and utilize this 2nd conference of the vleague as a training ground for the next season of the uaap. I am a big fan of both balse and bernal and I would love to see more of them on the court but for the sake of the whole Ust team, if they really want to train their rookies its a good opportunity for them same as what Feu did last vleague conference!.

i still believe Ateneo have the chance to enter the semis. if and only if their new setter was as good as Karla Bello minus Thai import Em-Orn plus their new captain Bea Pascual. Maganda naman performance nya last UAAP season. And kasama pa nila ngayon si Charo Soriano and Mic-Mic laborte sa line up. mga magagaling na blockers tong mga to. anyway excited na ako tmorrow sa game nila! ;p

la salle? eh nung game nila vs feu dba pinaglaro nila c saet? panu nmng nasabi na un ang uaap lineup nila? feu pa kamo un na kc tlga lineup nila 4 uaap!
