HIndi na sasali ang USTe sa V-League. They are done with that at least for this year. Sa Unigames sila sa October then UAAP na on December. Hayaan na lang ibang team maglaban-laban sa V-League tutal pabago-bago naman rules dun to accommodate another team.

Volleyball prepares for Laos SEAG

Women’s volleyball will not be caught with an unprepared team again.
The volleyball association announced yesterday that it has formed a national pool of 18 players which will be trained to compete in the 2009 Laos Southeast Asian Games.
The early preparation is being made to avoid a repetition of what transpired during the Thailand Southeast Asian Games where no volleyball team competed.
Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF) secretary-general Oti Camangian said the members were selected following a two-week tryout supervised by national coach Cesael Delos Santos at the Rizal Technological University gym in Mandaluyong City.
"We are very pleased to announce that we have now a new women’s team that will represent the country in future events, including the 2009 Laos SEA Games," Camangian said.
"Our team is mostly composed of young players from various universities who play in the UAAP and NCAA. We hope to start building future champions from here," Camangian added.
Former UAAP MVP Mary Jean Balse of the University of Santo Tomas heads the team that starts training this month to toughen up their skills for the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
Also included in the line up are Venus Bernal and Angeli Tabaquero of UST, Hannah Suarez, Rubie De Leon, Angela Benting, Nerissa Bautista, Michelle Segodine of last season’s Shakey’s volleyball champion Adamson University and Janet Serafica and Suzanne Roces of reigning UAAP champion Far Eastern University.
Other players are Beverly Boto and Dahlia Cruz of WNCAA three-peat champion Lyceum University of the Philippines, Nica Guliman, Danielle Michiko Casteñeda, Aiza Maizo, Lizlee Ann Gata, Janette Doria and Mary Cristel Rosalie.

I think mas maganda na nga na hindi na magcompete sa V-League ang UST-WVT.
Unless we are to submit to the organizers' wishful thinking of having their "favorite" team to finally win a V-League crown.
Hell, a 3-import per team may not be too far fetched an idea.
Para pwede pa rin 2 foreign/local imports plus yung favorite na WV player nila na graduate na. : )

this would be a great experience for the ladies, malaking tulong para sa mga naglalaro pa for UAAP and of course napakaganda para sa country, mabubuhay nang muli ang vball scene

Tuloy tuloy ang practices ng UST WVT. By October sasali sila sa Unigames. Hope they win the tourney. Magandang pabaon bago mag start UAAP season!

Hirap manood sa beach volley at napaka-aga. Sana lang makapasok UST sa finals ng mens and women's category para at least makuha kagad natin lamang sa UAAP general championship race.

UST vs Pharmacy team mamaya. Tune-up game ng mga bata.
Buo na ang team na lalaban for UAAP.
May team captain na rin. This is no brainer.
