The Tigresses, winners of three championships in the league, pulled off a 15-25, 30-28, 26-24, 25-22 victory over the Lady Falcons in Game 2 to force a rubber match in their best-of-three Final Four series. San Sebastian outlasted La Salle, 21-25, 25-17, 20-25, 28-26, 15-9, also last Sunday to complete its sweep of their own side of the semis for a seat in the championship round of the league sponsored by Shakey’s Pizza and organized by Sports Vision. “We need to play 100 percent if we want to win again. The better conditioned team will win this series,” said UST coach Cesael delos Santos after the Tigresses staved off elimination with that tough four-set victory before a conference-record crowd of more than 2,000.
