personal assessment ko...
adamson: they have great floor defense, lalo na ang libero nila.that's an advantage seeing that ust doesnt have that great floor defense... nanyan rin si komander nene... she's good in attacking at blocking department... angela is also strong sa attacks nya... baon. but i think adamson should use their new setter para mapractice sya for uaap...
strengths: floor defense
weakness: crowd support (tingin ko majority in the crowd will cheer for ust, kaya challenge yan sa adamson supporters to be there as one)
ust: offensively, they are powerhouse. nobody can argue on that. they can spike in all corners. i saw their first game, denise tan improved alot. dami na nyang variety sa sets. spike ni maizo grabe sa lakas. daming rookies na pwedeng ipasok sa game. hope their coach will give ample time for them to have exposures. their blocks also improved, courtesy of maizo and ortiz...
strengths: attacking, blocking, crowd support
weakness: floor defense
this will be a close match if ust will not play their best... but if they do, just like the last time they play, it will be a walk in the park...

my observation:
Adamson
the good:
they have great great floor defense. but aside from that, they have more teamwork inside the court than ust. Komander Nene will make the difference. Though ust defeated adamson in PVF and UAAP last season, but that was without komander Nene. Im sure the top form of benting and laguilles will come back.
the bad:
blockable hits, poor blockings
UST
the good:
they have great attackers and blockers. Maizo will make the difference. She is the missing person why ust lost to FEU last UAAP.
the bad:
poor floor defense, poor variation in set, less teamwork than adamson.
will win: Adamson
possibility: 60%
possible sets: 4 sets
goodluck to both teams
