I'll give this one to DLSU. SSC w/o Roces or Bualee, SSC = toothless.

La Salle-SSC V-League duel up
By Jasmine W. Payo Philippine Daily Inquirer First Posted 06:27:00 10/24/2008
GAMES FRIDAY (The Arena, San Juan) 2 p.m.—Ateneo vs Lyceum 4 p.m.—La Salle vs San Sebastian
MANILA, Philippines—De La Salle University shoots for its second straight triumph against tough San Sebastian College in the Shakey’s V-League competition at 4 p.m. Friday at The Arena in San Juan City.
The Lady Archers, vying for a fourth league championship after skipping last conference, are coming off a 25-15, 18-25, 25-23, 25-18 win over UAAP champion Far Eastern University to share the early lead with University of Santo Tomas.
Ateneo de Manila University and Lyceum of the Philippines University will kick off their campaign at 2 p.m.
“San Sebastian just played in the NCAA, so they’re very conditioned,” said La Salle coach Ramil de Jesus.
Aside from setters Kaye Martinez and guest player Chie Saet, the Lady Archers are banking on a seasoned cast led by Jacq Alarca, Manilla Santos, Michelle Datuin and UAAP Best Blocker Celine Hernandez.
San Sebastian mentor Roger Gorayeb said his wards have a strong chance against the Lady Archers, who posted 15 blocks against the Lady Tamaraws last Tuesday, 11 coming from Santos and Hernandez.
“It’s an even matchup, they can be beaten,” Gorayeb said in Filipino.
The Lady Stags hope to anchor their typically aggressive offense on Jinni Mondejar, Lou Ann Latigay, Sasa Devanadera and Marge Pepito in their opening match.
But the four-time NCAA champions will miss the services of guest player and national team standout Suzanne Roces, who is representing the Philippines in the Asian Beach Games in Bali, Indonesia.
Guest player Michelle Laborte, meanwhile, aims to provide the spark for the rookie-laden Lady Eagles against WNCAA powerhouse Lady Pirates, who will be bannered by Dahlia Cruz, Bernadette Satsatin, Mary Grace Babalo, Joy Cases and Raquel Ancheta.

naka 1 set ang SSC, i thought 3 sets lang ang laban....So malaki talaga ang pag asa ng SSC na makapasok ng final 4

parang nagwarm up pa lang ang DLSU nung first set. Si Latigay umarangkada. si Martinez pa setter nila daming errors. nung mga 3/4 na ng first set pinasok si Saet as setter up to the rest of the sets except for the latter part ng Set 4. magaling tlaga La Salle. sa San Sebastian naman nde naglaro si Mondejar at wala pa si Roces though feeling ko may chance tlaga sila makapasok ng semis.
