diego was the libero. and i think the blocking department of dlsu really made a mark. yun ang kulang sa feu, aggressive sila pero hindi sila makaconvert ng madali. atsaka, walang communication, lalo na sa 4th set, parang handa na silang matalo. I will definitely watch the replay on NBN 4 tomorrow... makikita ko na ulit si Regine Diego... yehey!!! |

i would love to see how DLSU would play in the UAAP without the services of Saet. i think Martinez would be their setter if my memory serves me right. on the other hand, FEU would have its line-up completed with the rejoining of Abanto and Tolentino who are now playing in the UNI GAMES. magiging mas maganda ang aksyon sa UAAP scene.

Charleen Cruz would be the starting setter in the UAAP. Kaye Martinez will be the second stringer but DLSU will be using a 6-2 play with Charleen Cruz and Celine Hernandez as their setters/utility spikers... In the recent PVF Intercollegiate tourney, DLSU was able to defeat a UST team with a Mary Jean Balse, Venus Bernal and Angeli Tabaquero... |

the DLSU vs. FEU match in v-league is a preview of what might be the finals of uaap.. but of course, i still have to see ateneo play.. pero i think these two teams are the strongest pag wala na ung mga guest players..

MANILA, Philippines - A new standard isn't being set in the Shakey's V-League-5 Second Conference. It's only being re-introduced.
De La Salle survived the first test in its return to top-tier volleyball competition after the Lady Archers dumped the Far Eastern University Lady Tams 25-15, 18-25, 25-23, 25-18 Tuesday at The Arena in San Juan.
In the second game, defending champion Adamson (1-1) routed Saint Benilde (0-2) 25-21, 25-13, 25-22 to post its first win.
Much has been said about how the V-League has enjoyed parity among its roster of teams. But that was before De La Salle and University of Santo Tomas returned to action after a one-conference layoff.
With the two teams dusting off their first-game foes, it looks like they're the title favorites again.
Celine Hernandez and Manilla Santos combined for 27 hits to lead the Lady Archers, winners of three V-League titles like UST, in a game that lasted one hour and 32 minutes.
Rachel Daquis finished with 19 hits to lead the Lady Tams, the reigning UAAP champions, which fell to 1-1. - GMANews.TV
