What if we have a small donation booth on the arena so others can donate and we can deposit it on their account... ? or the players can cooperate they will play for a cause... hahaha/... Hey! Thats a good idea! I like it!  Think that would help a lot! n maybe it would be nice to put a donation booth in every game not just in the vleague but also in the other leagues like d UAAP! we could also make a video campaigne n post it in the internet n indorse it here @ rpspikers so that more people would know about the plan of helping d RP Volleyball Team!  |

clap! clap! clap!  at alam naman nating di ganun binibigyang pansin ang Vball unlike Basketball na todo recruitment pati naturalization ng player kina-career. try kaya nilang tulungan ang Vball! pag ako Big Time na uunahin ko talaga funds for the National Team. promise sayang ang talent and skills ng players natin kung di masasaksihan ng buong mundo |

pwede din sigurong fan's day... the entrance fee could be 100 na magiging donation... pwede na yun, meet and greet, tapos exhibition play (all star game).. tapos parlor games... nag-enjoy na lahat, may fund pa diba?
or a pvf official volley clinic that will run through out the year, amateur indoor and beach volley tournaments. a part of the registration fee could be for the fund....
a tie-up with abs-cbn sports, shakey's and othe possible sponsors cold do it. ginagawa naman ng abs-cbn yun for bantay bata with ncaa and uaap basketball players diba?

Eh magkano lang ang ma reraised ng isang Laro na fans day? kailangan ng National team Anual budget meaning Sweldo" kasi 5 months na hindi napasweldo lulubog lilitaw ang team since 2006....
Magkano ba pa sweldo? sa dating sweldo last year na 7 thousand a month per player....
we need 100 thousand pesos a month. sa minimum wage na napa kaliit para sa national player
Ang kuripot tapos natigil pa pa sweldo.
Kapos kung isang Fans day lang iniisip nyo....
Ang kailangan Pasweldo na mas malaki pa sa Minimum wage para ma enganyo magvolleybol mga graduates mas malaki sweldo ng mga Call center agents.
Kung ako sa Shakeys National team nalang gagawin ko kesa VLeague na may pinapaburang team mahilig mag imbento ng Rules.
Nagbabayad na tayo Tax maski Sardinas noodles bilin nyo may cut na tax yun...
Baka makurakot lang pera kung magbibigay parin tayo sa pulitiko para itulong sa National team...
Majority ng National team sa Buong mundo 100% suporta ng Gobyerno.

Majority ng National team sa Buong mundo 100% suporta ng Gobyerno. these ar just suggestions.. we can only do so much... and we should take risks... kung puro negatibo lang ang iisipin natin, matatakot lang tayong kumilos. saan tayo mkakarating kung mananatili lang tayong nakatayo sa isang lugar at maghihintay ng kung ano... hindi lang sweldo ang importante.. uniform, facilities, training, participation sa international leagues. oo, hindi yun kaya ng isang araw lang na fans day, or pa-piso-pisong donation, pero at least we are doing something na hindi magawa ng mga tao sa gobyerno. |

Ang gagawin nyong isang game na fundraising pang uniporme lang yun, twalya, bag, bimpo, sabon, konting pagkain, Hindi kayo makakagawa ng Isang Team nun............
Pero ang mga Training, allowances tune up games, transportation, clinic sa abroad na kailangang kailangan ........................................Wala....................................... Hindi nyo kaya ng isang Game yun na fundraising Milyon ang kailangan.
As of now kasi watak watak na ang Line up ng RP Volleyball team hindi nanaman nag tre training 4 months na.... tapos nyan papatawag nanaman ng Tryout naka ilang tryout na tapos matutulog nanaman... may vleague may uaap may pvf game and so san pa kayo kukuha ng Players kung walang pa sweldo....
Kailangan ang Training pool.... back to Zero na tayo....
Kulang pa iniisip nyo... maski Vleague mahihirapang mag raise ng ganung kalaking halaga para bumuo ng National team..
Trabaho ng Gobyerno ang mag pondo run.
Ang naiisip nyong fundraising pang tatlong araw na Kainan lang pekture pekture at kasayahan.

But instead a challenge for us to think of some other ways to help the PVF which is more substantial, measurable, attainable, reasonable and tangible in any means... Perhaps a bold move (a petiton letter) to tap PAGCOR to support PVF in a longterm basis---and wrapped it up with constant hope & prayers for this miracle to happen! |

Volley group sees resurgence

Unable to produce the kind of noise they wanted last year, volleyball officials will have a busy schedule this year as they lined-up several major tournaments – including international ones – to revive the interest in the sport.
Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF) secretary-general Otie Camangian said they are bent on making a "big noise" this year by holding large-scale tournaments ranging from the Asian Championships to National Open.
Those kind of tournaments, according to Camangian, are needed to raise the level of competition in the country.
"We have a busy, heavy calendar this year because we want to make the sport’s presence felt," Camangian said yesterday. "We’re also eyeing a couple of tournaments for our national teams in preparation in the Laos SEA Games."
Highlighting the PVF’s 2009 calendar is the country’s hosting of the 15th Asian Men’s Seniors Volleyball Championships set Sept. 26 to Oct. 5. This will be the first time for the country to host the event although it hosted the women’s version in 1997.
The country was tapped by Southeast Asian Volleyball Association (SAVA) to host the event following the successful staging of the week-long Girls’ Youth Volleyball Championships in the PhilSports Arena last year.
After inspecting the existing facilities last Dec., SAVA president Shoanrit Wongparsert awarded the hosting of the 8th Asian Confederation General Assembly to the country. It is slated on Oct. 5.
The RP women’s team, which was formed as early as October last year, also gets the chance to improve and size up its standing for the December Laos SEAG when it sees action in two major Asian tournaments.
The squad will compete in the Asian Women’s Club Championships set in Nakhon Patong, Thailand from June 1 to 8 before taking part in the Asian Seniors Women Volleyball Championship set in Hanoi, Vietnam from Sept. 5 to 13. Both tournaments will serve as qualifying events for the World Grand Prix.
The RP men’s team, on the other hand, will take part in the Asian Men’s Club Championships in UAE in July and the Sting Cup in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam in November before plunging into action in the Seniors Championships and the SEA Games.
The National Open and the National Inter-Collegiate Championships are set in April and May, respectively.
Refereeing and coaching seminars are also set quarterly in the different parts of the country.
Camangian said the PVF is also eyeing to host for the SEA Youth Beach Volleyball Championships in July.

So now Team Philippines will see action in these tournaments.... kumusta kaya ang preparations?....kumusta kaya ang trainings.. for the WVT, they have 5 months for the Thailand tournament, while the MVT will have 6 months before the UAE Tourney... I do hope we will see how they play at the April - May Nationals....
