No. It goes like this.
The semi-finalists last season will only be allowed of one guest player while the non-semifinalists and the new teams will be allowed to have two. Teams like UST, Ateneo, San Sebastian and the rest are protesting about this and caused the V-League board to convene.
Here's an official update about La Salle:
They will not join if ever V-League Board will not allow Manilla Santos and Charleen Cruz as regular players. If however Manilla Santos and Charleen Cruz will be playing as guest players, they will not join this coming conference.

It would be really unfair for the semi-finalists(Ateneo, UST, SSC-R and Adamson) last conference if that rule would be implemented. Wag naman sana.
Hmm ., About the case of DLSU, gusto ko sila makasali. Hehe.
Pero, if the conditions given above would be consider by the Shakey's V-league
board .. sana idamay na din nila sa mga papayagan nilang maglaro as regular
players si Maizo ng UST at kung sino pa man na nasa under sa same case din nila.
Hehe.

isa lang ang pwedeng iguest ng semifinalist last year?.. wow... parang hindi unfair!!.. woohoo!
but if rule naman toh ng V-LEAGUE or anything..we have to respect it nalang.. diba?

i hope they would reconsider their decision to field 1 guest player per team. i hope they would allow at least 2 guest player per team for the v-league to be more competitive. I think all the schools participating in the v-league can afford to pay the salary of 2 guest players for 2-3 months playing, and since the v-league will be semi-commercialized it is easier for any school to field in 2 guest players because they have sponsors.
